IRON MAKING MACHINE

  ◈ IRON MAKING PROCESS

BASIC PROCESS FOR MELTING IRON ORE

When iron ore, coking coal and bituminous coal are fed in to a blast furnace of about 100m in height and blow hot wind of about 1,200°C, iron ore is melted by the heat coming out from burning of the coking coal. In other words, carbon monoxide (CO), which is generated by the combustion of coking coal, is produced by the reduction reactions with iron ore, that is, coking coal serves both as a hear source to dissolve iron ore and to separate oxygen and iron from iron ore. The iron ore changed in the blast furnace may take 5 to 6 hours to drain out. At this time, the temperature of the hot water increases to 1,500 ℃. The iron mold has impurities such as carbon (C) and sulfur, including iron contents. The iron mold is called a molten iron. We manufacture top and bottom seal valves, sinter coolers, and hoppers & conveyors, which is essential for the process of steel-making.

HOPPER & CONVEYOR

A Hopper &conveyor is facility that stores and transports iron ore and raw materials transported by ship into steel mill.

SINTER COOLER

A sinter cooler is mainly used in the steel industry and is used to cool the ore clusters by baking the sintered poor ore and fine ore of iron and heating them to high temperature to solidify them into a small ball shape.

BLAST FURNACE EQUIPMENT

A blast furnace is a cylindrical furnace with a height of 10 to 25 meters in usual. This is a facility for melting iron ore to produce molten iron. We produce and supply top and bottom seal valves and movable armors of a blast furnace.
